Example, I’m a wrestler, but when I think of these guys I’m always wondering why they are so successful and above the level of everyone else on what they do, and how I can be like them.

Genetic disposition, lots of training, and you gotta have a lot of heart. Oh yeah, you also need talent.

There is NO difference. They were great fighters with great skill and dedication. Only way to be like them is to TRAIN TRAIN TRAIN TRAIN TRAIN TRAIN TRAIN TRAIN!!!!!
Remember that they also had ”The Natural” type of instinct like:
The natural – some guy, usually young, comes into the gym and at first gets beat all over the mat, but slowly and surely every week, he gets better. After one week, you can no longer have your way with him. After two, you can only catch him with your best moves. After three, you are struggling to tap him. One month passes and you are tapping each other. Another month and the roles reverse. This is the natural. He will soon tap people you’ve never even gotten close to.

They ate, lived and breathed their chosen path in life. Many people may train hard but to live for training is different. By the way Bruce Lee was not a champion in anything and did not compete in sports except when he was younger.
There is also a level of dedication where their chosen path takes priority over everything else causing them to sacrifice many things most people would not in order to become a champion.

there is a big difference, most fighters have the desire to be the best, when they get there, the have accomplished what they want and leave, they wanted to stay there, they wanted to be the best as long as they could, and they had alot of talent, dedication and most of all, a natural instinct, they all had a voice inside them that made them do what they did

They practiced; over and over and over again. Your going to have to put a lot of effort into your sport if you want to be like Bruce Lee, or Muhammad Ali.

How can you be like them?
Honestly, unless you are one of the truly lucky people who have a natural ability in your chosen sport you will not be.
If you do have the natural ability you will then need to devote your life to training correctly, eating well, sleeping adequately and pretty much making your sport the number one thing in your life.
If you don’t have the natural ability, you will most likely never be to the level of these guys however that doesn’t mean you can’t be the best you are able to be – but again you will need a huge amount of determination and stubborn focus to achieve YOUR potential.
Good luck mate.

killer instinct and fear of losing…most of the great one say that it is the fear of losing that motivates them to train to become the best.
